DATCON Industrial Electronics Ltd. was founded
nearly 25 years ago, and since then it has been developed to be one of
the leading precision engineering companies in Hungary. Our offering
includes more than 50 different products and nearly 250 different
product versions in the field of primary industrial instrumentation.
We permanently develop our products, manufacturing technology, and
measuring & control systems in order to meet the challenges of a
competitive market.

The lowest cost intrinsically safe terminal on the market
The
DT9050 Intrinsically safe ExTerminal is an apparatus that can be
installed in Zone 1 or Zone 2 potentially explosive environment. The
device was designed to establish the interactive connection between the
operator working on the field and the process control system.

The family of intrinsically safe isolators is expanding
|
New
members appear in the family of instruments that contains the DT
1300...-type Intrinsically safe isolators / power supply units, DT 13xx
Intrinsically safe NAMUR / contact isolators, and DT 2500 Power supply
units with intrinsically safe outputs, which instruments have already
been manufactured for about one year.
The DT 1315... Isolators with intrinsically safe output are available
for delivery from the middle of April on. The "successors" of DT 130
ExO are made in 9 different versions; their task is to ensure analogue
signal transmission between devices and signal sources located in safe
environments, and signal transformers, intervening devices, and field
displays operating in environments of Zone 0, or Zone 1.
The transmission parameters of the isolators are extremely good
non-linearity < 0.01%
temperature dependency < 50 ppm/°C

Power supply units with intrinsically safe outputs
The
DT 2500 Power supply units with intrinsically safe outputs are designed
to ensure the supply of power for devices that work in potentially
explosive environments belonging to the Zone 1 category.
These devices may fall into II (2) G [EExib] IIC or II (2) G [EExib]
IIB classes, depending on their safety data. The output voltage of he
power supply units can be adjusted by a potentiometer on the front
cover, and thus any supply voltages can be generated in the 5.8 - 24.5
V voltage range. The 11 different types have the following main
parameters

The output is protected against overcurrent. An LED indicates
overloading. The power supply units are flexibly adapted to user needs:
IIC, IIB gas mixtures, or various Co, Lo parameters. The apparatus is
built into a 35-mm wide terminal assembly box, push-mountable on TS-35
rails.
